The 100th day

Today was the 100th day of school!  The 100th day is exciting for all of us.  We showed our 100th day spirit by dressing "like old people" and wearing 100 items.

4/5 Woven Pocket

The 4/5's have been weaving and weaving!  We have been weaving for A LONG TIME!  This project proved to be super challenging and rather advanced, but the results have been absolutely beautiful.

Gnome Homes

The first after school art class just wrapped up, and the 2/3's are taking their gnome homes...home.  I will miss the cute little homes, and the great kids in the class!  What a wonderful group!

Paper Plate Mandalas

The 4/5's are making mandalas with paper plates and sharpies.  We learned the history of mandalas and about their connection to nature and the world.

Charley Harper...done at last!

The 4/5's have finally finished their Charley Harper animal study.  After a lot of hard work and careful cutting we have a collection of beautiful animals in the style of Charley Harper.

Leaf Printmaking

The K/1's just finished a printmaking project using tempera paint, rubber leaves, paint rollers, and pencil erasers (for stamping circles).

Fall Pumpkins

The 2/3's have finished their fall pumpkins.  Made with colored glue, Sharpie, and watercolor paint.
